HEATHER
Abstract Artist
Fort Worth native, Heather Essian is an abstract artist known for her beautiful color palettes that are full of movement and bold brush strokes. She's been an artist all of her life and has found her favorite medium to be painting. She is passionate about creating art with meaning and works closely with her collectors to accomplish this. You can find her painting in her tiny sun porch studio in the historic home that she shares with her husband, Jim and their three young daughters.
Heather was born in North Carolina but now resides in Fort Worth, TX with her husband and three daughters.
Her painting career began ten years ago in an unfinished room above her garage when she was in the throws of caring for her newborn baby and toddler. She’s always been an artist and dabbles in many different mediums and forms of art. She began sculpting with plaster in 2019 and launched her hand painted textile line in 2022. She’s inspired by interiors and the way that different shapes and textures play off of one another. This love of interiors inspires the different styles of art she likes to create. Whether it’s her landscapes, geometric abstracts, or more energetic abstracts, each painting provides a special expression of who she is. Her favorite place to be is outdoors on a sunshine day amidst the trees or out in the country. Her love of nature inspires the earth tone color palette she uses often.
Heather’s work is represented by Design Supply Gallery in Alabama, Laura Lee Clark Showroom in Dallas, and Paloma & Co. in Houston.
